Daily Affirmation

My Daily Affirmation

MY DAILY AFFIRMATION

I AM A CHILD OF GOD, A CHILD OF DESTINY, A COVENANT CHILD, A FAVORED CHILD, CREATED IN CHRIST JESUS FOR ALL GOOD WORKS. I AM SPECIALLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE, INDISPENSABLE TO GOD, MY FAMILY, MY COMMUNITY, AND MY GENERATION. I AM MADE TO SUCCEED AND NOT TO FAIL, TO BE ABOVE AND NOT BE BENEATH, TO BE A VICTOR AND NOT A VICTIM, TO BE A WINNER AND NOT A LOSER, TO BE A LENDER AND NOT A BORROWER.

I CANNOT BE DEFEATED, I CANNOT BE DESTROYED. I HAVE THE GREATER ONE INDWELLING ME. BECAUSE JESUS CAN NEVER FAIL, THEREFORE I CAN NEVER FAIL. I SHALL NOT DIE BEFORE MY WORK ON EARTH IS ACCOMPLISHED. WITH LONG LIFE WILL THE LORD SATISFY ME AND SHOW ME HIS SALVATION. I SHALL BUILD HOUSES AND INHABIT THEM; I SHALL PLANT VINEYARDS AND EAT THE FRUIT OF THEM. I SHALL NOT BUILD AND ANOTHER INHABIT; I SHALL NOT PLANT AND ANOTHER EAT. FOR AS THE DAYS OF A TREE, SO SHALL MY DAYS BE, AND I SHALL LONG ENJOY THE WORK OF MY HANDS. I SHALL NOT LABOUR IN VAIN, NOR BRING FORTH FOR TROUBLE. ALL MY CHILDREN SHALL BE CALLED THE SEED OF THE BLESSED OF THE LORD, AND THEIR OFFSPRING WITH THEM. MY CHILDREN SHALL BE TAUGHT OF THE LORD, AND GREAT SHALL BE THE PEACE OF MY CHILDREN.

THE LORD SHALL GUIDE ME CONTINUALLY, AND SATISFY MY SOUL IN DROUGHT, AND MAKE FAT MY BONES. HE SHALL TAKE SICKNESS AWAY FROM THE MIDST OF MY BODY AND SATISFY MY LIFE WITH ALL GOOD THINGS. AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS THAT BEFORE I CALL, THE LORD WILL ANSWER; AND WHILE I AM YET SPEAKING, HE WILL HEAR AND SAY, “HERE I AM” IN JESUS' MIGHTY NAME. AMEN.

Our History

Faithful steps since 1978.

1978

The Birth of a Vision

Christ for Rural Areas Ministries was born on Saturday, March 11, 1978, at C.A.C. Primary School, Share, in Ifelodun Local Government Area, Kwara State. Bro. Samuel O. Olanrewaju, having received a vision from the Lord, gathered fellow believers to share his burden for the unreached. From that day, monthly evangelistic crusades were launched to bring sinners out of bondage, in obedience to the pattern of Christ Himself, who "went about all the cities and villages, teaching… and preaching the gospel of the Kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people" (Matthew 9:35).

1981

A Union Ordained of God

On August 8, 1981, Bro. Samuel wed Florence Temilade Afolayan-Bepo at the UMS Theological Seminary Chapel, Ilorin. Their marriage strengthened the work of the Ministry, in fulfilment of the truth that "two are better than one" (Ecclesiastes 4:9).

1982

A Place to Call Bethel

Land was secured at Eleyin, along the Oke-Onigbin/Omu-Aran road — over 100 hectares in time — after earlier efforts elsewhere were resisted. A ground-breaking ceremony marked the founding of the Campground, which soon housed a Christian Nursery & Primary School and farmland to sustain the growing work.
